About Me

Welcome to my website!

Hey there, I’m Tina. I could bore you to death with my entire life story but I’m going to choose to stick to the short version of it, or I’ll try to since I do tend to get long winded at times.

So, I graduated in late 2011 with a degree in Psychology but if truth be told, I wasn’t exactly over the moon about the idea of working in an institute for long hours listening to depressed people talk about themselves (that kind of stuff rubs off on me so I’d end up going home sad and depressed myself).

So after I graduated, I was pretty much back at square one with what to do with my life (my degree is useless by itself without further “add on” degrees that specialize in something).

I was pretty bummed out for awhile so to speak.

And a bit pissed at landing myself into $20K worth of debt with a piece of paper I was never going to use.

I felt like I had let myself down by not planning ahead of my own life, and I let my parents down who had high hopes for me.

My family friends laughed at me because they thought I was full of hot air, aiming to be a psychology but quit right after graduating (yes, horrible humans so to speak).

So for months thereafter, I struggled to find a job.

Yes, struggled.

The economy sucked major balls and as a results, I couldn’t even get a job at McDonald’s or any other fast food outlet (no seriously I think I spammed their contact email countless times).

Life sucked for awhile and the financial stress was anything but fun.

It wasn’t until one random day as I was on the computer looking for a job that I got a phone call from a complete stranger who was asking for my help with a health survey in the city (30 minutes from where I live).

For the life of me I don’t know why, most probably due to the fact that I was deathly bored with my life, I agreed.

Could’ve been a serial killer, kidnapper, insane maim artist who knows. At that point all I knew was I was in serious need of change.

It was a good thing that I agreed to help out the stranger because she turned out to be a friend of a friend (found that out AFTER I met her) and that she had a business proposition for me.

Was I ecstatic?

Hell yea!

Did I say yes?

Hell yes!

So here I was at my first MLM opportunity meeting and it was like nothing I had ever seen before. No I’m not going to pitch you or say that it was the best thing in the world since chilli dipped dim sums but it was definitely different from what I was used to experiencing.

Needless to say, I was pretty excited about it so I signed up under my sponsor and the rest is history… or so I’d like to say.

After a few months of doing traditional network marketing, I didn’t get anywhere near the income level or lifestyle that the opportunity meeting promised me.

Eventually I opted to search on the internet for a solution to my network marketing dilemma.

And THAT is where I’d like to say the rest is history.

Granted I’m still a ways from meeting my goals, I’ve never had more fun in my life learning about internet marketing, and how to run a home based business online.

Now before I go any further, I’d like to point out that I am not bashing traditional network marketing methods. Although their methods haven’t worked for me, they have definitely worked for a lot of people like my upline and their team.

They are 5 figure earners and that is with no technology whatsoever. That’s pretty beasty. Not something I’d want to do for my own business though. To each their own.

Anyway back to my story…

I have spent a heck of a lot of time struggling online, learning the ins and outs of building a network marketing business online, blogging, and working on my mindset development.

I personally believe that for any chance of success building a network marketing business online, you have to build your own personal brand, be transparent, give value and attract people towards you with your unique qualities.

This is what my blog is about.

Tapping into yourself and sharing your own value and personality through blogging to attract customers and sign ups.

I’m well aware that there are other instant results strategies like paid marketing, but I think blogging is not only insanely fun, but the long term rewards like free traffic, building your own following and free leads/sign ups is just too awesome to ignore.

So I pledge to you, dear reader, that in this blog you will find articles and posts about how to build your home based business through blogging, how to make your posts reek of your unique personality, and how to develop the proper mindset to create unique and engaging articles that will have people signing up under you and buying from you.

I look forward to helping you reach your business goals and build your own online presence!
